Trusted computing - Trusted computing (TC) refers to a technology advocated by the Trusted Computing Group (TCG). The term is taken from the field of trusted systems and has a specialized meaning.

Trusted Computing Group - The Trusted Computing Group (TCG), successor to the Trusted Computing Platform Alliance (TCPA), is a controversial initiative led by AMD, Hewlett-Packard, IBM, Intel, Microsoft, Sony, and Sun Microsystems to implement trusted computing.

Connexions Centre - A Connexions Centre is a place, as part of the government-funded Connexions service, where young people aged thirteen to nineteen in England can go for confidential support and advice on a number of topics. The staff are known as Connexions Personal Advisers, and are "trained to offer confidential advice and practical help".

Connexions Direct - Connexions Direct is a website that offers information on many topics relevant to young people aged thirteen to nineteen in England, as part of the government-funded Connexions service. It offers confidential one-to-one support over the e-mail, telephone, text message, mini-com, and even instant messenger.

In the wake of the Exxon Valdez oil spill, a conservation trust helped stabilize trusted connexions and regenerate the damaged area. When bird habitats along the Platte River were threatened by Grayrocks Dam, a similar trust came to their rescue. And if a family wants to protect its land for future generations, establishing a trust may be the best solution.
